Clearing Main Street, Downtown Dayton Ohio

Clearing Main Street, Downtown Dayton Ohio

Spent a little bit of time riding with Mike of the City of Dayton Street Maintenance Department. Luckily, it was later in the day and most people had evacuated downtown to head home for the day. The challenges were in  working  a pattern to keep up on the removal of snow, weaving around parked cars and planning a place to deposit some of the snow. It was a windy night with some freezing but nothing stopped the whole crew from continually working – all night long and into the morning to keep the streets drivable.
